I’m going to take parts and talk about it. First is the greatest commandment, to me this is the most difficult parable, commandment, to honor. Jesus loves us flaws and all and accepts us for who we are yet we will judge, talk about, and demean those around us and feel it’s okay because “I know who God is and almost every other time I am an example” which is wrong. We are to walk and ALWAYS be an example of his unconditional love for us. Do we? Impossible to because we are human and I understand that is why Christ died for us for our forgiveness but that doesn’t give us an excuse. Christ gave to those in need and many times throughout the Bible we see those who walked in faith who barely had a thing, yet we not do something because “I have to think of myself first” but if we have faith, true faith, in the one who is our protector, guidance and Father then shouldn’t we also walk in love and faith and believe he will take care of us even when we don’t see how? I used to always believe in the faith of the mustard seed but over time I have allowed what man (myself) could actually accomplish without believing that God is the one who provides. I guess what I’m trying to say is that if I just would trust in his greatest commandment then I could see again that it’s not by my hands but his so that at every time I could be a true example of his love. It reminds me of something I heard listening to a speaker, would you give your last bread if you were asked trusting in God to provide or would we be greedy saying someone else could help, sadly I have been the latter but hopefully as I walk each day, I will learn to trust him more.

Okay one more, the parable of the two sons where Jesus explains that the tax collectors and prostitutes would be entering the kingdom before others, Wow! This just goes to show me that it doesn’t matter who you are but your faith. Are we not so quick to judge and say things when in reality those we judge may have more faith then us. It’s easy to judge others but is it not as easy to accept others for who they are? Nope! Because of someone doesn’t fit in the mold we think they should, we have our opinions as to how bad they are. I’m not going to lie, I do judge but I do hope that I will learn to accept those around me without judgement because as my Daddy used to say, you never know when you are entertaining Angels, one of the most memorable things I remember about my parents is they always walked in love.

Impossible to because we are human and I understand that is why Christ died for us for our forgiveness but that doesn’t give us an excuse. I really like what you're saying here. I remind myself all the time that forgiveness is not a license to sin. It's so easy to think, I have forgiveness so it's okay if I slip up once in a while, but the Bible says "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48) That's quite a standard to live up to, but what we sometimes fail to realize is that as a born again Christian we have the Holy Spirit living inside of us and He gives us the power to escape all sin if we listen to Him and obey His Word. As the Bible says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. " (1 Corinthians 10:13) Walking through that door may not always be easy, but He makes sure the door is always open.

What you're saying here is so true, and unfortunately it is very common for Christians to look down their noses at those who aren't saved. When you think about it, it's kind of ridiculous that we expect the unsaved to live Godly lives. Think about that for a minute, how is someone who doesn't know God supposed to live a Godly life when those of us who do know Him still have trouble living that way? You can't live a Godly life without the power of Christ, so how are the unsaved supposed to live that way, they can't, they don't have the power of God in them. But we do, so why are we not better examples of that power and love? Jesus told us that whatever we do for the least of these we are doing unto Him. (Matthew 25:40) Can you image the impact Christians could have on this world if we treated everyone as if they were Jesus? Would we talk behind Jesus' back? Would we look down our noses at Him? Of course not, yet we do it to the least of these without a second thought! How shameful we must look to our God. Imagine if Christians would be a real example of Christianity, a light in the darkness? But most of the time we don't, rather we act like the Pharisees and say, 'look how holy I am' yet we are living in sin, dead in works. Jesus said they were lost, and if they were lost, then those of us who are too busy removing the speck from our brother's eye that we don't see the plank in our own eye are not going to hear 'well done, good and faithful servant'.
