I need your help dear friends! If my calculations are correct, it looks like our bible study will be wrapping up the book of Matthew four days before Christmas. Now, I suppose that could be a good thing or a bad thing, but I'm leaning toward the idea we may want to put Matthew on hold at some point because as the Christmas holiday gets closer, it's likely people will be busier and activity in the forums will probably fall off. I'd like to think it wouldn't but it does happen when people start traveling and spending time with family they are usually online less. So what I want to know is what does everyone think, do we put a hold on Matthew some time after Thanksgiving and move into some of the lesser books so those who can't be online as much doesn't miss something important? And if so, where is a good stopping point? And of course the third choice is we just keep marching through Matthew and if you can't be here for the closing of the book then you can just finish up the study outside the forum. Reply on this thread and let me know what you think please and thank you. God's peace be upon you always!

Since I didn't get any responses to the above post, I made an executive decision to postpone Matthew until after New Years. We will be studying some of the shorter epistles in the NT and will return to Matthew on Jan 5. God be with you!
