Ok I have been meaning to post this. I’ve listened to Christian music pretty much my whole life and I just really like Lauren Diagle’s. I have a wonderful Christian friend that has issues with her. I don’t know why but when I hear her music It’s like it hits straight to my heart. It’s from scripture and full of Father God’s promises. It’s full of hope. Yes she has been singing in the Secular world but that is where the lost is. Shouldn’t she go where lost are. I’ve seen her on the Ellen DeGeneres show and the morning shows. Each time she has not comprised herself and she sang from her heart singing what God gave her. My dad use to say you have to go where the lost are. I believe that to be true. She has a platform where people of all both sides are listening and hearing Gods love and hope for a lost world. I Trust In You has gotten me through the last three years in ways I can’t explain. I’m so very grateful for her.
Anyway those are my thoughts.. love you all

Anyway those are my thoughts.. love you all When it comes to the need to go to where the lost are, I tend to agree with you to a point, but I believe we have to be careful of the level of exposure and more importantly the intentions of our heart in doing so. It is definitely not my place to judge Lauren Diagle, or anyone else for that matter, for God shall be our judge. In Acts we see the example of Peter, Barabbas and the other Jewish believers who separated themselves from Paul and the Gentiles in Antioch. I feel in this case Peter and the Jewish believers were in the wrong. They clearly went against the heart of God in that instance as is evident in how God had already shown Peter not to call that which He called clean to be unclean. In this case, the intentions of Peter's heart was wrong as he was only concerned with keeping within the law --- but Christ died to abolish justification by the law, establishing salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and nothing more. On the other hand, as I said, we have to be care of the intentions of our hearts when we deal with the world. The scriptures say in Romans chapter 2 that God gave up sinners to a reprobate mind and their vile affections because the intentions of their hearts were wicked. According to Romans 2:28, these sinners "... did not like to retain God in their knowledge", basically meaning they didn't want anything to do with God, so He gave them up to their own lustful, sinful desires to their own destruction. We also see instances in several of Paul's epistles where Paul tells the church to give individuals who have fallen into certain sins that they should be removed from the church and the believers are not even to eat with them (1 Corinthians 5:10-11). In one case he even tells the church to hand the sinner over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh in order to save his spirit (1 Corinthians 5:5). That sounds pretty harsh, but as Jesus said, "And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire" (Mark 9:47) I will say this though, we need to remember what Paul tells us in dealing with other believers; under grace we have liberty, but we need to be careful. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 8:9, "But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak." So the way I see things, there is a line that can but should not be crossed when dealing with the world, but in the end, God will be the judge of whose testimony is true as only He can see what's in our heart. Hope that helps

Thanks Brian❤️ I know the word says we are known by the company we keep. I think God wants us to be watchful with whom we “hang out “ and spend our time with and open our heart to. At the same time God wants us to go into the highways and byways to reach loss. He also said do not forsake the assembling of our brethen. He knew we needed each other. We help each grow (Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpenth iron so doeth a man sharpen the continence of a friend) we help each strengthen our relationship and walk with Christ.......Thank you again❤️
